Guardian Home Program
Because Every Dog Deserves a Loving Family

At Snickersdoodles, we believe every dog deserves to be part of a family—not just kenneled or kept solely for breeding purposes. To honor that belief while continuing to grow our program, we’ve created the Guardian Home Program.

This program allows our breeding dogs to live full, happy lives in forever homes with local families while still participating in our breeding efforts. All of our dogs live in homes—not in kennels—and we plan to keep it that way.

What is a Guardian Home?
A Guardian Home is a special arrangement where a carefully selected family receives one of our “pick of the litter” puppies or top-quality adolescent/adult dogs for a fraction of the cost, while Snickersdoodles retains breeding rights.
Once the dog’s breeding career is complete, we contribute $100 toward spay/neuter, and the dog remains your forever pet.
Guardian families receive a stipend with each litter produced (or a puppy) as a thank-you for your commitment.
Note: We do not give our Guardian dogs away for free. A $500 deposit is required for all Guardian dogs, regardless of size, gender, or color. This ensures that our Guardian families are fully committed to the program for the right reasons.

Current Guardian Home Opportunities
2. We are also looking for a guardian for a pup from Goldie's F1 Standard Goldendoodle litter. She should be 65lbs full grown. This one will be ready to go on 10/7!

3. We are also looking for a guardian for a pup from Bella's last litter! Journey is almost a year old, weighs 35lbs and is a low shedding, low maintenance dog. She is a nice, sweet, calm girl. Does well on a leash. Is potty trained. Is crate trained (although she doesn't love it). Loves other dogs and cats....just a lover of a dog 🥰

4. Meet Sophie! Sophie is a 2 year old miniature retriever who has lived with the same guardian family since she was a baby. They are going through some personal stuff and will be moving to a place that doesn't allow pets so they asked if I would find her a new guardian home. Super sweet dog. Gets along with other dogs/cats/kids. Come meet her today!
