Bringing home your sweet puppy is such an exciting time—but we know it can also feel overwhelming, especially if you’re a first-time puppy owner or haven’t raised a puppy in a while. Whether you're short on time or unsure where to start, our Stay & Train Boot Camp is the perfect solution.
We’ve partnered with our dedicated in-house trainer, a professional with over 10 years of experience working exclusively with puppies. She’s been an integral part of the Snickersdoodles team for years and specializes in helping families build a strong foundation with their new pups. Your puppy will stay in her home, right here on our property, for a customized 1-, 2-, or 3-week training program.
Using the trusted Baxter & Bella curriculum, your puppy will learn crate training, basic manners, socialization, and more—everything they need for a smooth transition into your home and routine.
🐾 Why the First 12 Weeks Matter:
The first 12 weeks of a puppy’s life are equivalent to the first 5 years of a child’s life. It’s a critical window for learning, social development, and confidence-building. Puppies also go through a "fear period" between 8–12 weeks, when new experiences can shape their adult personalities.
That’s why Boot Camp is such a game-changer—it helps your puppy navigate this important stage in a safe, structured, and positive way.

How Does Puppy Boot Camp Work?
1 Week Crate & Train Experience:
Investment: $499
Our 1-Week Crate & Train Experience is the perfect introduction to structure, routine, and confidence-building for your Snickersdoodles puppy. This program is designed to help your puppy adjust to life without their littermates while laying the foundation for a successful transition into your home.
Over the course of the week, we’ll focus on:

Establishing a predictable daily routine: eating, drinking, sleeping, playing, and pottying

Crate training to minimize accidents and reduce anxiety

Potty training with scheduled outdoor breaks to set good habits early

Teaching your puppy their name and introducing simple manners and cues
-
Introducing leash walking and wearing a harness comfortably
We use the trusted Baxter & Bella training curriculum, along with continued Puppy Culture practices, to support your puppy’s emotional and behavioral development. Socialization is a big part of week one! Your puppy will be gently exposed to new sights, sounds, and experiences—including common household noises (like the TV and vacuum), short car rides, and exploring different environments.
All training is done using positive reinforcement and force-free methods in a loving, supportive environment.
If needed, we’ll also continue your puppy’s age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming during their stay.

Looking to give your puppy a stronger foundation before bringing them home? Our 2-Week Stay & Train Experience includes everything from Week 1 and builds upon it with an introduction to obedience training and deeper socialization.
This extended program is ideal for families who want their puppy to start learning important manners and commands, while continuing to develop confidence, structure, and independence in a home-like environment.
What’s Included:
✅ Everything from Week 1: beginning of crate training, reinforcement of potty training and name recognition, leash and collar introduction, socialization, daily routine
✅ Continued age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming (if needed)

What We Focus on in Week 2:
With the help of the Baxter & Bella “Establishing a Foundation” curriculum, your puppy will begin learning key obedience commands that will set the tone for a lifetime of good behavior. These include:

Our 3-Week Stay & Train Experience offers the most comprehensive foundation for your Snickersdoodles puppy—perfect for novice or first-time puppy owners who want to bring home a more well-mannered, confident companion.
This package includes everything from Weeks 1 and 2, plus a critical third week of reinforcement and consistency. At this stage, your puppy will be refining the obedience skills they’ve learned, deepening their understanding through repetition, and continuing to build confidence in a real-home environment.
