My name is Becky and I've been a professional breeder of Goldendoodle puppies for over 12 years now.  Here at Snickersdoodles, our goal is to produce healthy, gentle, well-socialized puppies with LOVING temperaments and sweet dispositions. Our motivation is to make sure that people are getting responsibly bred pets. We strive to produce gorgeous, healthy puppies with laid back temperaments that have been socialized and loved from birth by our family and staff.  Our puppies truly are "child tested and Mother approved".  Our puppies are born and raised in our home and receive individual love and attention every day by our family and my staff.   We invest a tremendous amount of time, energy, money, dedication, hard work, fun and tender loving care into our breeding program.

It gives us great joy to produce loving, beautiful pups that are well adjusted and confident. We go to great lengths to nurture, love, and prepare these pups for success with their new families.  We follow The Puppy Culture protocol which includes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) on all pups from day 2 through 16.  The first 16 weeks are the most powerful and important ones in a puppy's  life and what we choose to do or not do during this period can completely change the outcome of their future. Getting all the bases covered in a timely fashion is a much bigger job than most people anticipate but this is where our experience and expertise truly makes a difference! All pups are well socialized on our property where they have lots of room to romp, play, and learn. Beginning with development during the prenatal period, throughout the critical socialization period, we prime our puppies for lifelong success!

Puppies are vet checked and vaccinated before they are placed with their new owners. We take great pride in our dogs and puppies and invest our time and efforts into ensuring that our puppies go to owners who will provide loving and permanent homes. All companion pets from Snickersdoodles come with a two-year health guarantee against serious genetic defects that can negatively affect your puppy's quality of life.

Please feel free to contact us anytime as we love getting to know new families as well as staying in touch with adopting families.  We truly appreciate all the love and support you have all shown us and we hope to continue to blend families together with their dream babies because Snickersdoodles is where best friends are made!!

WHAT SETS SNICKERSDOODLES APART:

Puppy Culture:

We proudly utilize Puppy Culture with our litters. This is a stage-specific active enrichment and socialization protocol designed to capitalize on the period of time that puppies' brains are the most impressionable.  We have at least 1 puppy trainer here every day working with every puppy from birth until the day they go home.

Early Neurological Stimulation:

From days 3-16 we employ Early Neurological Stimulation to help give your puppy the best start in life. ENS has been found to help puppies handle stress, improve physiological functioning, and increase curiosity. By neurologically "jump-starting" our puppies during the neo-natal period, continuing to provide a blend of skills, experiences and enrichment during the critical socialization period and incorporating early problem prevention protocols, we empower our puppies with the ability to face the challenges of a busy life and to communicate with us in socially acceptable ways.

Potty Training:

Our puppies have started potty training, crate training, and are introduced to the car before heading to their new homes.  We employ the use of a potty box starting when the pups are 3-weeks old. This not only keeps the puppies cleaner and their area more sanitary,  but will make it easier for you to house-train your new puppy since they are used to going in a certain "place".

Crate Exposure:

Puppies have had exposure to resting in crates before they go home. We are firm believers of Crate Training your puppy.

Leash Training:

At 6 weeks old we start getting the puppies used to walking on a leash.  They are walked on the leash daily between 6 and 8 weeks. They have practiced loose leash walking and attention with distraction.

Grooming:

Our puppies are comfortable with body handling, nail trimming, bathing and grooming.

Food:

We make sure the puppies nurse as soon after they are born as possible. The first milk the dam produces is colostrum which is a thin watery "milk" that transfers mom's immunity to the puppies. It is very important that they receive this colostrum to keep them immune from deadly diseases. Later mom's immunity wears off and that's when we immunize the puppies.

Puppies nurse on demand for 3-4 weeks. We begin to introduce "puppy mush" about the time they become interested in mom's food, right around 4 weeks old. Also about this time, mom is getting seriously tired of their little shark teeth and the weaning process then begins. As the days and weeks go by we gradually move from soaked kibble to dry kibble in preparation for puppy going home.  Here at Snickersdoodles, we feed our puppies and dogs Pawtree, All Life Stage Dog Food. Pawtree is holistically balanced and provides the nutritional harmony that’s important to help your canine achieve and maintain optimal health.

These are just a few things that we do specifically, with intention, that separates us from other breeders.  The proof is in the puppies!!
